Lone horse

Did he land it?

Well....yes he did, what was great though was the little kiddie in the background with the obviously borrowed helmet...but good on him!

Now that really is silly

A great British pastime!

I think the whole queueing thing has gone a little far!

My fourth of fourth

My Brother put on his blog something called 'Fourth of the Fourth'. This is how it works: you go to the fourth photo file on your computer and select the fourth picture in it and post it on your blog. Ok here we go, its a picture of me in the mid eighties in my motorcycle jacket at midnight about to absail from lowertown viaduct..near Helston. Why midnight I hear you ask...Well we did ask the owner during the day if you could absail down his viaduct....His reply was, "No and if I see you doing it i'll shoot at you with my 12 bore". We thought ok then....and it became a mission hence we did it at midnight!

I quite like Black and White

I'm quite getting into the whole black and white thing, following me using a black and white film in an old camera...This one is digital though!!

How many buttons do you need?

After this bus shoot I went back and did a few more they wanted, which included the inside of that big coach below. I just had to take this shot for myself as I was bewildered how the hell you drive this thing! I obviously need to watch some more StarTrek!!

The other funny thing was, when I gave them black and white one below, I mearly stated that I tried to make a bus look interesting, and the owner looked at me as if I had beaten his children. Then I was told they love buses that much!!!!!

A bit of a mission

Today I did a shoot for a bus company, for their 2009 brochure. After I did the shots I needed I took a few extra to see if I could make a bus interesting. Here is my result!

I don't think you should do that

Is it me, or is that a really silly thing to do? I'm sure I got told never to let the handlebars go especially when in the air!

A storm

This may sound really awful, but i'm waiting for a storm as I want to capture the power of the sea for a project i'm working on! If anyone knows when this may happen then please feel free to leave a comment as I can't wait! Also while i'm here I'm currently writing a book on the gaols in Cornwall so if you have any info on any of the the old gaols please get in touch! The book is nearly done!

Frame or no frame

Does A frame make a difference to a picture? Does it look more pro therefore more expensive?

I love this picture

Not sure who took this one but the negative was in my Dads bits and bobs after he had passed away, but whoever took it what a fantastic image!

Look at that camera with flash!

Another of mine

Ahh.... the year was 1978 and I was given a kodak instamatic

I was so thrilled an had to get out there strait away! Well this was the first couple of shots I took with it, and nearly the last as I dropped it in the snow that very same day.......Thank god for mum's airing cupboard!

My gran

Because my late gran and grandfather took hundreds of pictures i'm luck enough to own them all now. (My gran featured here in 1938

From the air

I went up in a plane a few years ago, just to take a picture of the mount!

I just found another

I also took this shot! If you know Helston at all you will see the changes and know where I grew up!

This is my beginning

I'm very pleased with myself, as I have just found the very first photograph I ever took back in the 70's. Hopefully over the next few weeks I will dig out some more of my early years!

My past

It's nice to have lots of photographs of yourself as a child, but I always wonder.....who the hell dressed me and styled my hair!!!!!

Portrait with attitude!

Took this pic a few months ago, but just found it again!
